This aligns with national movements promoting sustainable festival practices, including clay idols with natural colors, biodegradable decorations, waste management initiatives, and river protection during immersion.
The Cambodia Buddhist temple theme by Naya Bazar Samity connects with the broader trend of international architectural themes in Durga Puja 2025, particularly the Angkor Wat temple being recreated by major pandals in Kolkata.
While some committees focus on architectural marvels (Kedarnath, Cambodia Buddhist Temple), others emphasize spiritual significance (Adiyogi Mahadev, Traditional Ashram) or social messages (Environmental Protection).
The 2025 themes showcase remarkable diversity: Hindu temple architecture (Kedarnath), Buddhist temple design (Cambodia), Environmental awareness, Spiritual symbolism, and Traditional celebrations.
